The Cadillac CTS will be introduced in the Indian car market by the automobile giant General Motors in 2010. Initially the company was planning to bring Hummer to India but the plans were put on hold and now the iconic Cadillac is expected to make its grand entry into the Indian Market. This car was initially displayed at the Auto Expo of 2008.

The Cadillac CTS will be launched as a part of D+ sedan segment of cars. The car is equipped with a 3.6L, V6 petrol engine with DOHC feature. This engine can deliver power of 63 bhp at 6400 rpm along with peak torque of 43 Nm at 3100 rpm. The car can seat 5 individuals comfortably and has a boot space of 385 litres.
The length of the car is 4857mm and its width is 1842mm while its height is 1473mm. The car has tilt steering along with front ventilated and rear disk brakes. The car has 6 automatic gears and the kerb weight of the car is 1756 kgs.

The car is expected to deliver mileage of 6 km/litre in the city while the mileage on the highway is expected to be 10 km/litre.

The Cadillac CTS review indicates that the interiors of the car have been designed to match its elegant design. The car has air conditioner with climate control feature. Power windows, remote central locking, remote fuel filler and boot are some other features. The driver’s seat can be electrically adjusted. The car has music system that is dash integrated. The other aspects include bucket leather seats and controls on the steering wheel. The car has rear AC vent along with cup holder on the rear armrest. The car has saple wood trim on centre console, instrument panel and the door.
