General Motors which is one of the leading automobile manufacturers in the world will be launching its luxurious sports car named Chevrolet Camaro in the Indian Market. This car will be launched in India around December 2010 and will be exclusively made available for its rich clientele in India. The car has already been well received the world over and now it remains to be seen if its Indian launch is just as successful.
Chevrolet Camaro Specification
The Chevrolet Camaro review indicates that the car can come with two engine options. These include a 3.6L V6 petrol engine and a 6.2L V8 engine. Both the engines come with 6-speed gearbox. The 3.6L engine can deliver power of 304 bhp at 6400 rpm and the peak torque is 273 bhp at 5200 rpm.
The 6.2L engine can deliver power of 426 bhp at 5900 rpm along with peak torque of 420 Nm at 4600 rpm. Both the engines deliver top class performance. The length of the car is 4836mm while its width is 1918mm and its height is 1377mm. The car can seat 4 individuals quite comfortably and its weight is 1709 kgs.
Chevrolet Camaro Mileage
It is expected that the car will be able to deliver mileage of 7.2 km/litre in the city while the mileage on the highway is expected to be 12.3 km/litre

The interiors of the car are quite stylish and extremely comfortable. The seats are well placed the steering wheel is touched with leather and can be adjusted for height and this ensures that it is comfortable for the driver. The audio controls are also mounted on the steering wheel. The car has compass, tachometer, exterior temperature gauge, cruise control feature, remote trunk release and tilt steering column feature.

The car is not only stylishly designed by also has several safety features and these include driver and passenger air bag, rear body air bags, tire pressure monitor, side impact airbag that is mounted for front seat and side impact air bag for front as well as rear head curtain. The car also has side guard door beams.

The price of the car is expected to be around Rs 20 lakhs. The car is available in 5 variants and these include Chevrolet Camaro LS, 1LT, 2LT, Chevrolet Camaro 1SS and Camaro 2SS.

The car is available in nine colors and these include aqua blue metallic, cyber gray, inferno orange metallic, imperial blue metallic, black, silver ice metallic, rally yellow, victory red and summit white.
