Citroen C-Crosser is a sports utility vehicle that will be launched in Indian market in August 2010. This vehicle was launched internationally by the French automobile giant to attain success in the SUV segment. The car directly competes with the likes of Hyundai Santa Fe and Honda CR-V. The car has several mechanical similarities with Peugeot 4007 and Mitsubishi Outlander.
Citroen C-Crosser Specification
The Citroen C-Crosser review shows that the car comes with 2360cc, 4-cylinder inline petrol engine. This engine can deliver power of 170 bhp at 6000 rpm along with peak torque of 314 Nm at 4250 rpm. The length of the car is 4605mm and its width is 1805mm while its height is 1670mm. The car can seat 7 individuals comfortably.
The engine of the car is mated with 6-speed manual gearbox and this is connected with an electronically controlled drivetrain. Front to four wheel drive change can be effected by using a dial located on centre console. The lock function can be accessed when conditions are slippery and greater traction is needed.
The suspension of the car includes pseudo McPherson strut along with independent trailing arms. The body roll tends to become slightly pronounced at higher speeds while taking corners. The steering is quite accurate and responsive and on the whole the car delivers excellent performance.

The interiors of the car are quite spacious and offer excellent legroom to occupants along with good boot space. The car has air conditioner and is equipped with climate control feature.
