The Maruti Suzuki has enjoyed considerable success with its Maruti Ritz car within the Indian automobile market. Following this success the company would be launching the Maruti Ritz CNG version so as to strengthen its market position. The car is expected to become available in the Indian market at the end of 2010.
Maruti Rtiz CNG Specification
The Maruti Ritz CNG hatchback would be available in the market with a 1197cc, 4-cylinder, K12M CNG engine. This engine would be able to deliver power of 84 bhp at 6000 rpm along with peak torque of 113 Nm at 4500 rpm. The length of the car is 3715mm and its width is 1680mm while its height is 1620mm.
The car will be able to seat 5 individuals and has power steering. The car has McPherson strut suspension with coil spring and rear has torsion beam. The turning circle of the car is 4.70 metres and the car has boot space of 1150 litres. The car has front disk and rear drum brake system.
The engine of the car is mated with 5 manual gears. The ground clearance of the car is 145mm. The car has kerb weight of 1005 kgs and its fuel tank capacity is 43 litres.
Maruti Ritz CNG Mileage
The car will be able to deliver mileage of around 14 km/litre in the city while the mileage on the highway is expected to be around 17 km/litre.
Maruti Ritz CNG Interiors
The interiors of the car have several features and these include air conditioner but the car does not have climate control feature. The car has rake steering adjustment and the driver’s seat can be manually adjusted. The rear seats have folding feature and the car has remote boot and remote fuel filler feature.

The safety features in the car include airbags, anti lock brake system and electronic brake force distribution feature.
Maruti Ritz CNG Price and design variations
The price of the car is expected to be around Rs 4.75 lakhs and the car will be available in a single design variation.

The car is expected to be available in the same colors as the normal Ritz.
