The Mini Cooper has for long been regarded as an iconic car. After its phenomenal success BMW took over the production of the car. The car and its three models will now be making their entry in the Indian automobile market. The Mini One hatchback will be introduced in the D segment sometime in 2010.

The Mini One review reflects that the car will be equipped with a 1398cc petrol engine. This engine can deliver power of 75 bhp at 4500 rpm and the peak torque is 160 Nm at 4250 rpm. The engine is smooth and the mated with 6-speed manual transmission. The car delivers crisp and nippy performance.
The length of the car is 3699mm and its width is 1683mm while its height is 1407mm. The car can seat 4 individuals and has a boot space of 160 litres. The car has a well weighted and responsive steering and this ensures that driving the car around town is quite easy and the car offers a smooth ride. The car has the BMW Z axle multi link rear suspension and front as well as rear disk brakes. The kerb weight of the car is 1135 kgs and has fuel tank capacity of 40 litres.

The mileage figures for the car in Indian conditions are not known as yet.

The interiors of the car have a distinctive retro feel to it and are visually quite enticing. The car has a centrally mounted speedometer and a sixties start button. The car has six speaker stereo and air conditioner with climate control feature. The steering has rake and reach adjustment feature and the driver’s seat can be electrically adjusted. The steering wheel has certain controls.

The safety features in the car include airbags, parking sensors, fog lamp, antilock brake system and electronic brake force distribution feature.
Mini One Price and design variations
The price of the car is around Rs 16 lakhs and the car will be available in a single design variation.
Mini One Colors
The colors in which the car will be available in the Indian market are not known as yet.
